disk check results: no memory remains.

december 19, 1:50 am pst.
I am up late (or early?) blogging today. Brain-dead most of the day lead to no good ideas for a nice juicy blog entry. Since I still don't have a clue where I'd like to take this blog other than somewhere productive, I'll just do a kind of...overview...review...analysis...type deal.

Today was spent ( for the most part ) gaming with my girlfriend, and Culture Pollution's very own that one girl. We played Forza Motorsport for XBOX (The old one mind you). I found that no matter how fast your car is on certain tracks, if you cannot properly function your right trigger and left thumb wheel devices, chances are you'll win the Most Body Damage award, rather than the Mitsubishi Evo. Although I did learn a few things. One being that a lot of the real life conditions are applied in the game, such as track temperature/wind direction affecting turning ability. Or maybe you really shouldn't rally race a Volkswagen Beetle in the Japanese Mountainside. Ah, but a fun game none-the-less.

I've yet to check my BBC and CNN resources this morning, so I'll leave that for the blog coming later today, so as for news: I have none at the moment. Check back in a couple 3 hours and I'll have something worth reading - I promise.

I suppose the only other thing I can come up with at this hour would be the fact that that one girl and I are going to brunch at this cool Cafe down the road tomorrow. It's a neat little place with a bohemian small town touch. Pretty nifty, eh? Oh and I watched a little marathon of A Shot At Love With Tila Tequila today and damnit, why did she pick Bobby? Pompous ass... Dani was so much better for her. Gah, makes me frustrated. Now I remember why I don't watch Reality TV.

Well anyway, until my next blog sometime today, peace.

file corrupted: delete?

I believe today is Global Idiot Day. The day where all of the stupid people on this planet get together to plot evil doing on the rest of us who are just trying to live. For various reasons I am hoping to just stay hidden in my bat cave. Although on the brighter side, I got my USB Port working and pics on (notice above...). Right, onto important matters.

It's only day two and I'm already thinking of taking this blog in another direction. The first post wasn't really anything astonishing, just a heads up on some articles you could have found yourself on BBC/CNN. So I'm not quite sure yet what I'm going to do with this blog, but once I figure it out, it shall be epic. Yes... epic indeed.

Blah so as for news, I could only come up with one interesting thing amongst being irritated today, and my brother sent it to me. (Hey, we're educated siblings...)
They have all sorts of channels on TV, but in Germany they now have the Obit.'s on TV for a small fee.
I suppose they can have anything on TV if you pay enough...

Well, back to life. Sorry for the shorter post today. Maybe I'll post something more interesting later.

peace.

error: drive malfunction.

Ah my first real post. I suppose this is going to be more of a 'damn I'm bored and this fucking computer wont work correctly' blog with an actual event review, but hey, its something.
Oh, yeah, you like the little banner I made, I'm sure of it. nods to self. Well now, where shall we begin?

Dehli's deputy major dies after falling from a terrace while trying to fight off wild monkeys. Tragic event, and as my brother said, I hope there's cold beer in hell, because neither of us could help but laugh. Seriously, who gets attacked by wild monkeys and falls out a window to their death? Apparently this Deputy Major. Who needs to shoot the sheriff when the deputy is falling from terraces? Very unfortunate...my condolences.

Another event I wanted to share that happened a few days ago would be when that Indian Holy Man got his*holy leg* hacked off by thieves. Okay, this one is just disturbing and bizarre. 1) What do they plan to do with this leg that has healing powers, if it's dead? and B) W.T.F.? If you're going to hack off the poor man's leg, at least put him out of his misery instead of letting him bleed to death, or wake up with a massive hangover, only to realize he's been had, and his leg seems to be missing. Sick people in this world.

An issue that I personally have been following is the Darfur genocide. I'm not quite sure why the American Government is doing jack shit about it, but it pisses me off. "Not on our watch" my ass. Anyway, some rebels in Darfur have 'won a major victory'. Apparently 29 soldiers and 32 vehicles, and bushels of weaponry were kidnapped by these rebels. They claim it to be a 'major victory' but the Sudanese government says otherwise. Then again, Sudan refuses to admit anything is happening in Darfur, so who knows.

On the brighter side of things, Greenpeace is attempting to persuade major game console manufacturers Sony, Nintendo and Microsoft, to make their consoles more eco-friendly.
Being a treehugger, I think this is pretty sweet. Greenpeace hopes to team up with these 3 Gaming Giants to help stop global warming by reducing the amount of toxic burden of their products. Whatever that means... Anyway, I think it's a pretty good plan, if they can convince the companies to become more sustainable, maybe the worlds teenage generation will become more environmentally conscious. Heh...it's worth a try right?

Last on my agenda tonight - Local news. I'm hoping to do one or two Local News reviews in my posts every time. Of course this is gonna give away where I'm from for the most part, but oh well, it's for the sake of educating my local readers. So in keeping with the treehugging topic, Protesters in Portland use the 234th anniversary of the Boston Tea Party to speak their mind about gaining World Peace.

Pretty cool I guess.

Alright, time to get some sleep after I fix this fuckin' USB Port issue. makes stabbing motions towards computer.
Until tomorrow -

december 16, 2007. 5:30 pm pst.
from here on in, i write without a script.

alright, so the Rent reference was a little off for my opening blog, but I'm an off person. Otherwise, why would I be writing The Robot Union? Exactly.

So where do I begin? Perhaps I'll explain to you that I'm ___ years old from __ state and I'm of ___ethnicity. But I refuse to do so. but puh puh puh-leeeease?!?! Nope. This blog is not about me. It's about what's going on in the world, and other people's lives, from my perspective. Basically the 6 o clock news, a la Boheme.

Oh no! Not another one of those starving artist types! Damnit, I'm leaving now.

Nah. I'm not an aspiring ZOMG IM A PHOT0GRAPH3R GEMME MUNNee whore. I'm a realist. Life's too short (I hate that phrase by the way...) to have your head in the clouds. Although it's nice to dream about some things, isn't it better to accomplish your dreams?

I don't care about that last paragraph...what is the relevance?

To show you that I plan to make this a successful blog, if it kills me. (Okay, maybe not to that extent, as I do have a life, but you get the idea).

So, on behalf of z union, welcome. Enjoy your stay, and towels are provided in the pool area.
