december 16, 2007. 10:50 pm pst.
Ah my first real post. I suppose this is going to be more of a 'damn I'm bored and this fucking computer wont work correctly' blog with an actual event review, but hey, its something.
Oh, yeah, you like the little banner I made, I'm sure of it. nods to self. Well now, where shall we begin?

Dehli's deputy major dies after falling from a terrace while trying to fight off wild monkeys. Tragic event, and as my brother said, I hope there's cold beer in hell, because neither of us could help but laugh. Seriously, who gets attacked by wild monkeys and falls out a window to their death? Apparently this Deputy Major. Who needs to shoot the sheriff when the deputy is falling from terraces? Very unfortunate...my condolences.

Another event I wanted to share that happened a few days ago would be when that Indian Holy Man got his*holy leg* hacked off by thieves. Okay, this one is just disturbing and bizarre. 1) What do they plan to do with this leg that has healing powers, if it's dead? and B) W.T.F.? If you're going to hack off the poor man's leg, at least put him out of his misery instead of letting him bleed to death, or wake up with a massive hangover, only to realize he's been had, and his leg seems to be missing. Sick people in this world.

An issue that I personally have been following is the Darfur genocide. I'm not quite sure why the American Government is doing jack shit about it, but it pisses me off. "Not on our watch" my ass. Anyway, some rebels in Darfur have 'won a major victory'. Apparently 29 soldiers and 32 vehicles, and bushels of weaponry were kidnapped by these rebels. They claim it to be a 'major victory' but the Sudanese government says otherwise. Then again, Sudan refuses to admit anything is happening in Darfur, so who knows.

On the brighter side of things, Greenpeace is attempting to persuade major game console manufacturers Sony, Nintendo and Microsoft, to make their consoles more eco-friendly.
Being a treehugger, I think this is pretty sweet. Greenpeace hopes to team up with these 3 Gaming Giants to help stop global warming by reducing the amount of toxic burden of their products. Whatever that means... Anyway, I think it's a pretty good plan, if they can convince the companies to become more sustainable, maybe the worlds teenage generation will become more environmentally conscious. Heh...it's worth a try right?

Last on my agenda tonight - Local news. I'm hoping to do one or two Local News reviews in my posts every time. Of course this is gonna give away where I'm from for the most part, but oh well, it's for the sake of educating my local readers. So in keeping with the treehugging topic, Protesters in Portland use the 234th anniversary of the Boston Tea Party to speak their mind about gaining World Peace.

Pretty cool I guess.

Alright, time to get some sleep after I fix this fuckin' USB Port issue. makes stabbing motions towards computer.
Until tomorrow -
